Born in 1973 in Paris, Olivia Gay studies Art History in Bordeaux, France (1993-1995),
and photography in Boston, (New England School of Photography, 1995-1997).
Her documentary works concentrates on female topics in our society. She started photographing young women prostitutes in Latin America and France, and since then Oriental dancers in Cairo, Waitresses, Models, Cashiers, Religious ans is currently working on a new serie of women working in factories in the countryside of France.
